Healthy & Delicious

More than a motto. It’s how I cook, live & think about food

What “Healthy & Delicious” means:

This isn’t just the motto I live by - it’s the reason my clients choose me again and again.
People think healthy food means no flavour.
To me, food should be healthy & delicious - no compromises

I craft food that nourishes both body and mind: meals that make you feel good and help you handle the stresses of everyday life. Food should be one of the easiest ways to find joy, not just fuel to keep you running. You’re not a robot.

That’s why every dish under this brand follows the same principle: nutritionally balanced, made from real ingredients & always full of flavour.

When It Came to Life

It didn’t start as a marketing idea - it started with me.
The deeper I went into health, the more I discovered how much truly matters:

  • ingredient quality
  • nutrient balance
  • digestion
  • energy & focus

I began changing my own approach to food - how I cooked, how I ate, how I felt after every meal.

Over time, I realized that eating well doesn’t have to be restrictive or bland. It can be deeply satisfying, full of character & still good for you. That’s when “Healthy & Delicious” stopped being just an idea and became the standard I cook by!

The Truth Behind Healthy & Delicious

What really goes into your food - from the farms I trust to the cookware I use

Healthy & Delicious isn’t a trend - it’s a standard.
Every choice I make, from sourcing to cookware, is intentional and transparent.
Here’s what truly stands behind the food you eat

Meats & Poultry

All of my beef, lamb, bison, elk, Mangalitsa pork, chicken, turkey, rabbit, duck, goose, and eggs come from local farms around Calgary.
Animals are grass-fed, pasture-raised, and cared for with respect on open, clean land.
Each farm I work with shares my values: humane treatment, natural feed and quality without shortcuts.

For seafood, I source only from trusted local fish markets known for freshness and responsible suppliers. You’ll never find low-grade imports or mass-farmed fish in my kitchen.

Fruits & Vegetables

Freshness and purity come first.
All produce is organic, from regenerative farms that respect soil health and biodiversity.
When in season, everything comes from local Alberta farmers and markets, so the food reflects both the land and the season it grows in.
Taste and nutrient density always win over convenience.

I also source local raw honey, which plays an important role in my kitchen. Besides being a natural sweetener, it helps the body adapt to local environmental allergens and pollutants, supporting a stronger immune system year-round.

Fats & Oils

Healthy fats are non-negotiable.
I use:

  • cold-pressed olive oil
  • coconut oil
  • grass-fed butter
  • self-rendered lard & tallow

You’ll never find canola, vegetable or seed oils in my cooking - only real, stable fats that support both flavour and health.

Grains & Dairy

Local isn’t always better - quality is!

I don’t use grains grown in Canada or the USA, as most are contaminated with glyphosate. Instead, I source clean, heritage grains from overseas, where traditional farming still means purity.

My buckwheat comes from Ukraine, polenta and specialty flours from Italy, select grains from regions that preserve old-world methods - unmodified, sun-dried, and nutrient-rich.

For dairy, I partner with local producers who offer real A2 milk and I bring in fine cheeses from Italy, France & Greece.

Every grain and cheese I use is chosen for one reason - it’s the cleanest, most authentic version I can find.

Cookware & Tools

What touches the food matters as much as the food itself.
I cook using:

  • cast iron & ceramic
  • carbon steel & stainless steel
  • glass containers

Materials that heat evenly, last for years & never leach toxins.
Utensils are stainless steel, wood, silicone & I use end-grain cutting boards to protect both the knives and the food.
No shortcuts, no harmful coatings - only tools that respect the ingredients.

Water & Safety

Clean food starts with clean water.
I use reverse osmosis (RO) water remineralized for cooking, drinking & washing produce.
Wherever possible, I choose glass or metal containers and limit plastic exposure.
Packaging uses PFAS-tested parchment paper, beeswax wraps, natural cleaning detergents & soaps - because food safety goes far beyond the ingredients!

Every meal I make is built on trust.
When you eat from Healthy & Delicious, you’re not just eating a recipe - you’re tasting a system of choices made for your health, for the planet & for the people who grow our food.
